Worry and stress are among the biggest concerns for both children and adults today. Everyone experiences these feelings at times, but when anxiety and sleepless nights begin to get in the way of your daily routine and compromise quality of life, it is time to take action.
In this series, you will learn and practice resources to become empowered to care for your own physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Through yogic breathing exercises, meditation and movement techniques, and aromatherapy you will learn to root out the underlying cause of your anxiety.

The Sivananda Yoga Retreat is a traditional yoga ashram. This is a special place for me, as this is the “lineage” of my first yoga teacher training. I’ve had the honor of presenting programs here on Paradise Island for the last 10 years. Here, you can experience the life of a yogi – meditate and chant at dawn, practice yoga postures on a platform at the beach, eat vegetarian food and meet amazing people from around the world. This course is a Yoga Vacation Program. You will follow the ashram schedule and the portion that I’ll be teaching is a 90 minute afternoon workshop. The dates for the October 2018 course fall on Navaratri – The 9 Nights of the Goddess. Each night, there is a beautiful ritual performed to honor the Goddess and our spiritual path. It’s a very special time to be at the ashram!
