Family Yoga

Finding time for fitness, family fun and a chance to relax can be a challenge. In family yoga classes, they are all rolled into one. Child-centered and built for fun, this unique style class creates a space where families can connect with each other and their community. Parents participate right along with the kids.   Families will find support for a healthier lifestyle and get to enjoy a holistic family-centered activity.

What may just look like fun and games, is the true technology of Yoga, woven in with sound child development principals and cutting edge neuroscience to support development on all levels.

What is a Family Yoga class like?

Bark in Down Dog, balance in Crow, weave through the Human Obstacle Course as you grow, grow, GROW.  Sail a Pirate Ship, walk the Plank, swim with the Sharks and learn to give thanks.  Turn into a Tree, breathe like one too and become all the animals in the zoo! You’re a Lizard on a Rock with your mom or your dad while having the best time you’ve ever had.  Then ride your breath like an ocean tide and relax your body and mind on a Magic Carpet Ride.

Who are these classes for?
Families who have attended these classes include bands of aunts and cousins, dads and daughters, dads and sons, moms with multiples, the “Four Up” family (mom, dad and two kids) and even families that include four generations. The practice is tailored to meet each individual at his or her level of development, interest and ability. No previous experience is required. All ages and relations 5 years old and up are welcome to participate in this class.
