Welcome! Are you a highly sensitive person (HSP)? It’s estimated that 20% of the population is. This is a trait that may not be well understood, both by people who are highly sensitive as well as others who are not. Sensitivity is a superpower. But we live in a busy, noisy world that can feel overwhelming for an HSP.

As an HSP, you’ll thrive when you have a better understanding of your unique gifts and needs, develop a lifestyle that supports you and have a community of other HSPs. You’ll find that and more in the HSP Collective.

Spring Revive. March 25 – April 22

Join us for a relaxing and comfortable workshop where you can learn more about your trait, how to take care of your sensitivity and how to hone your superpowers.

In addition to connecting with other HSPs, You’ll get effective strategies, based on Ayurveda and yoga therapy, to soothe your system before, during and after overwhelming events and activities. And, we’ll talk about one of the most important thing in an HSP’s life – rest. Have a simple method for discerning when it’s too much and when it’s not enough.

This is an in-person workshop series held at Cadence Chiropractic. 6409 City W Pkwy #105, Eden Prairie, MN 55344

Take The Quiz! Are you an HSP (Highly Sensitive Person)?

Once you understand your highly sensitive nature, you can make empowered choices to live your best life. Take this quiz to find out. You'll receive your results along with tips to help you appreciate and nourish your sensitivity.

This quiz is simply to promote greater self-understanding. It is in no way intended to diagnose or treat. HSP is not a condition or a disorder. It’s a genetic trait.

This quiz is based on the pioneering work of Dr. Elaine Aron, who articulated the term “Highly Sensitive Person”, my own life as an HSP, and decades of experience helping people better understand and regulate their own nervous system and energy body.

I am conscientious and it’s important to me to do things right the first time and to the best of my ability.

I can’t watch violent/intense shows like Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, or Ozark because I feel emotionally distraught – sometimes for days after.

I am sensitive to bright lights, loud noises and/or strong scents.

The texture and feel of my clothing is more important than what it looks like when choosing what to wear.

I feel easily overwhelmed when there are too many projects to work on or complete at once, too many deadlines and other stressful work situations.

I’m known to cry during emotionally touching commercials and at music or theater performances.

I am sensitive to caffeine.

I feel often overwhelmed in crowded environments and need to withdraw from overstimulating activities to find quiet and solitude.

Some may think I’m slow or shy because I like to take my time in a new situation to process what’s happening – emotionally, socially and through my five senses.

I can often sense what others in the room are feeling and what they may need to be more comfortable.

I notice and appreciate the details – a flower arrangement at the front desk, scents as I'm walking down the street and the kind of music playing in a café.

Nature is an elixir for me. I feel a strong connection to the natural world and am deeply nourished by it.

I feel connected to the subtle realms. I can sense energy in myself and the world around me.

I am sensitive to pain - both my own and others'.
